We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of order movements, from outbound fulfillment and warehouse transfers to final mile deliveries. Your role will involve providing end-to-end visibility and insight into warehousing fulfillment, transportation, and delivery, as well as strategically managing carrier and warehouse relationships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and drive process improvements. Additionally, you will lead and motivate a team, manage logistics costs, onboard new service providers, and identify business opportunities.

**Note - you must be legally permitted to work in Canada.**

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:

- Oversee all order movements, from outbound fulfillment to final mile deliveries, ensuring efficient and timely operations.
- Provide end-to-end visibility and insight into the warehousing fulfillment, transportation and delivery of outbound shipments
- Entrepreneurially and strategically manage carrier and warehouse relationships in order to maximize their services and commitment
- Mitigate the risks and impacts associated with our daily operations and minimize potential supply chain disruptions to the business
- Work cross-functionally with teams to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department and drive process changes with all stakeholders effectively
- Lead and motivate team of 5+ direct reports and 10+ indirect reports by coaching, setting clear objectives and inspiring people to reach and maximize their full potential
- Demonstrate conflict resolution and interpersonal skills to help the team find the best solutions for the company, customers and supply chain partners
- Manage logistics freight variances and minimize costs through invoice approval and disputes
- Source and onboard new carriers and warehouses to bring in the best and most suitable logistics service providers
- Identify, evaluate and propose business opportunities considering top line and bottom line impacts
- Work closely with HR to identify hiring needs, recruit and train new hires
- Assist in documentation and organization of departmental information
- Other ad hoc duties may apply

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**:

- 4+ years in logistics, warehousing, operations, fulfillment and in an office environment
- A post-secondary degree or equivalent in business, transportation, logistics, operations or similar field
- Experience in outbound fulfillment and final mile delivery particularly e-commerce retail environment as an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Extreme detail-orientation and great multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize
- Highly adaptive to changes and flexible in agile environment
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office
- Strong data analytical skills and experience working with reporting tools
- Understanding of how Order and Warehouse Management System (OMS and WMS) and ERP systems interact with carriers’ transportation system a plus
- Able to balance being self-managed and being part of a team
- Personal interest in the furniture or design industry an asset
