Level 2 Dental Assistant

We have an amazing opportunity for a skilled, advanced and outgoing Level 2 Dental Assistant with a positive attitude to join our team. A minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience is required.
We are also a teaching facility for an implant course that you would have the incredible opportunity to be part of.
- Experience and a strong understanding with dental implants is an asset.
- Experience in a high paced environment with the ability to multitask.
- Must be highly organized.
**Duties**:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures both basic and surgical.
- Set up and breakdown/disinfection of operatories.
- Take dental radiographs.
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to the proper standards.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
- Perform various office tasks as necessary.
- Stocking operatories.
- Maintaining office flow and staying on time.
- In office lab work.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an Advanced Level 2 dental assistant with 3 years experience is a must.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology
- Understanding of dental terminology
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with dental implants and surgical procedures
