**_Full-Time opportunity_** Wonder Brands Inc, Mount Pearl, NL WAGE: Starting from $22.59/ hour. SHIFT: Monday to Friday, Shift Rotation every 2 weeks between Mornings and Evenings, (flexibility with working overtime, Overtime available after 40 hours or after shifts >8 hours) Mornings - Starts between 7:00AM and 8:00AM Afternoons - Starts between 2:00PM and 3:00PM We are a premier North American bakery company and we’ve been in business for 135 years. Our Sanitation Workers are an integral part of the baking and production process, ensuring our delicious baked goods safely end up on grocery store shelves and at your favorite restaurants across North America. In a typical day, you’ll: - Dismantle, clean and assemble a wide variety of bakery production equipment - Perform general cleaning and upkeep of the building including wall, floors, I-beams, etc. - Must be able to read instructions from assigned work orders and from cleaning material labels. - Remove and dispose of all waste materials. - Other assigned duties related to sanitation - Ensure that all sanitation charts and work orders are kept up to date. - The shift may or may not rotate with the production shifts depending on demand, and there may be circumstances where Saturday and Sunday shifts are required. - Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed About You: - A lover of bread and baked goods - You should be comfortable lifting 50 pounds. - You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic - You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing) - You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues - You digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance - You are someone who listens to comprehend a situation first, asking questions to clarify your own understanding, instead of listening to be able to reply quickly We offer a competitive benefits package for full-time and Part-time employees, including strong benefit and pension plans, paid vacation and holidays, overtime opportunities, and a growth path to line leader and supervisory roles.
