**Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Experience as a prep cook or line cook is preferred
- Warm and welcoming personality
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Can prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours (evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continual learning and development.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food products
- Team member training and coaching to achieve operational standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Handling customer service inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
- Embrace and champion the use of real ingredients to produce real food
**Position Details**:
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Location: Ft. Saskatchewan, AB
- Wage: $15.00 - $20.00 / hour
