Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist with food preparation such as cutting meat, fish, and vegetables
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure all food meets quality standards and is ready to be served
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and organizing supplies
- Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with food safety regulations
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff effectively
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.50-$19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
