**Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information
- Ability to submit bids on platforms such as: MERX, Bids & Tenders
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Develop comprehensive proposals for clients based on project requirements
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure budget adherence

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary Education in Accounting, management, and/or a Construction related field.
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in project administration, management and estimating or a similar role with the construction industry
- Operate Excel, Word, PDF and other computer software systems.
- Experience utilizing construction software systems.
- Excellent knowledge of residential construction practices and of the Ontario Building Code.
- Results-oriented self-starter and who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent time-management, administrative, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in **French and English.**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional excellent attention to detail.

**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday. 7:30 - 16:30

**Must have a valid driving license and own reliable transportation.
