**The Role**

As an Inside Sales Manager, you’ll join a dynamic, growth-oriented team dedicated to delivering fast, accurate quoting and exceptional customer experiences. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and develop a high performing inside sales team, ensuring compliance with sales protocols, accuracy in margins, and high win rates. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, support strategic initiatives, and enhance customer retention. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inside sales representatives, creating a positive and productive team environment consistent with the company values of collaboration, respect, empowerment, and performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive inside sales growth and meet revenue and margin targets.
- Maintain and improve customer retention rates by ensuring timely follow-up, excellent customer service, and proactive communication
- Oversee the quoting process, ensuring that quotes are accurate, competitive, and aligned with company margins and profitability goals.
- Implement and optimize quote turnaround times to ensure rapid response to customer requests to exceed expectations and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with the production teams to verify accurate margins and pricing strategies
- Ensure all inside sales reps adhere to established sales processes and protocols within the company’s software.
- Drive consistent and thorough use of the CRM system to maintain customer data integrity and enable effective pipeline management.
- Handle escalations from the inside sales team and provide guidance for resolving customer issues effectively.
- Partner with Operations to align production capabilities with sales commitments, ensuring customer satisfaction and realistic lead times
- Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the inside sales team, including win rates, quote turnaround times, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Stay current and share ideas with management on best practices, process improvements, market intelligence and new technologies.

Provide regular training to develop team skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, technology usage, and customer relationship management..

**What You Bring**
- ~15-years successful sales experience selling in a technical environment.
- A strong desire to exceed targets and goals.
- Proven ability to sell technical solutions through a structured sales process.
- Passion for customer service and solving problems.
- Good organizational and prioritizing skills. Strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree or related college/university courses preferred (Engineering, EIT).
