Within this exciting context, Ontario Tech University seeks a Dean of the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS). Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President, Academic, the Dean will provide strategic leadership of the School to enhance and advance graduate and postdoctoral programs, policies, and initiatives, delivering a unique and impactful learning experience for Ontario Tech students. Through an on-campus, engaging leadership approach, the new Dean will focus on leading strategies to promote program quality and supervision, bolster enrolment and retention, improve research success and impact, and will develop and foster a shared vision for members of SGPS. The new Dean will engage with campus and external partners to develop and implement a strategic plan aligned with the University’s Integrated Academic-Research Plan 2023-2028, delivering a cogent campus-wide vision of graduate education at Ontario Tech that harnesses its unique institutional potential.
