Digital Marketer

**Opportunity**:
We are looking for a results-driven Digital Marketer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about animals, skilled in digital strategy, and eager to use their marketing expertise to support a mission-driven organization. The Digital Marketer will be responsible for developing and executing digital campaigns that increase awareness, grow our online community, support fundraising efforts, and help drive adoptions.

**About Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary**:
Dog Tales is a world-renowned dog rescue and horse sanctuary set on an incredible 50 acres of green fields, rolling hills, and wooded areas in King City, Ontario. Our picturesque location - complete with walking trails, therapy pools, and a grooming spa - is the perfect setting for abused and neglected animals to heal and be rehabilitated while they wait for forever homes. Along with medical care, our team provides all of the love, attention, and training that our rescue animals need to recover from their difficult pasts, so that they can move on to permanent, loving homes, which most do. **The Role**:

- Coordinate with the media team to develop creative assets and campaign materials
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and actionable recommendations
- Assist with online fundraising initiatives, donor campaigns, and merchandise promotions
- Optimize website content for SEO and user engagement
- Stay informed about trends in digital marketing and animal advocacy to keep online presence innovative and relevant

**What You Bring**:

- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in nonprofit, advocacy, or lifestyle brands
- Experience with content strategy and campaign planning
- Basic understanding of SEO and SEM best practices
- Strong copywriting and communication skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for animal welfare and a deep connection to the mission of Dog Tales

**Salary**:The salary for this position starts at $42,000 per year.

**Schedule**

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 8 AM - 5 PM, five days a week, with occasional weekend shifts as needed.

**Please note, this position is onsite. Additionally, reliable access to a car is necessary as there is no public transit near our facility.**
