**Reports to**: Production Manager

**General Accountability**

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with directional drilling development team to develop and manufacture MWD/LWD drilling equipment and achieve objectives;
- Assembly, Q/C, and Testing of Electronics PCB and assemblies
- Assist senior engineers and project managers;
- Interface with other departments, engineers, clients and vendors during all phases of projects to ensure a good working interface
- Ensure that the deliverables provided to the project are technically accurate, within scope, budget and schedule, suitable for the intended purpose and in compliance with quality procedures and project plans.

**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Experience with MWD/LWD systems
- Rich experience and sensitive knowledge of directional drilling industry demand.
- Experience assisting project engineering leads and managers in project design and execution to meet client schedules.
- Adept at writing technical reports.
- Proficient with Electronics Assembly and SMT PCB Assembly.
- Have experience with working with High Temperature Electronics
- Proficient with MS Office software and various engineering software programs
- Multi-tasking, Self-motivated, innovative, multi-tasking yet pragmatic.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both orally and written.
- Responsiveness to quality issues and customer concerns.
- Positive attitude, willingness to support others.

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3 years MWD/Oil and gas mechanical manufacturing and design experience is required.
- Education: Electronics Engineering Technologist or Electronics Engineering Degree
- Familiarity with Schematic Design and PCB layout is an asset.

**Physical Demands**
- This position requires a person to sit up to 8 hours per day.
- Up to 25% travel may be required
- Manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
