This role will contribute to RCL's success with the objective to create outstanding in-store experiences in all our banners. This role has the talent to lead the design process and/or evolve new store design concepts and new programs. Incumbent must have the ability implement new concepts and details and to align existing design concepts and details with new concepts - partial or total; must actively partner with multiple other creative teams (External firms, Store Planning team, Visual Presentation, Marketing and Operations) to drive brand vision objectives into exceptional physical realities to create outstanding customer experiences.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:
With creative leadership, you will manage the design and drafting teams, as well as:

- Continuously provide coaching, direction and leadership to support a performance driven - strong, innovative & agile creative team and environment.
- Inspire and engage all teams to seek personal and creative development through coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure Store Planning teams in are continuously updated on industry news and trends, gain market and competitive knowledge, assess and develop RCL program needs and successes.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelors in Interior Design or Architecture and/or 12 to 15 years of related managerial retail design experience ;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of expertise:

- partnering with visual merchandising and marketing teams;
- managing multi functional and cross functional teams;
- in executing complex design solutions, retail a preferable asset.
- Technical skills required: AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup (3D rendering);
- Knowledge and use of AI tools an asset (ex: Mid Journey, Dalle, LookX).
