**Data Business Analyst**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze complex financial data sets to support strategic business decisions.
- Develop and maintain automated financial reports using Power BI, Power Query, Python, VBA, and other tools.
- Create and manage data models and dashboards to track KPIs and trends.
- Clean, structure, and validate data from multiple sources, including ERP systems and POS (Point of Sale) data.
- Provide actionable insights to enhance marketing strategies, optimize sales, and improve operational efficiency.
- Work directly with ERP administrative data, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and optimization across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and operations, to provide data-driven insights.
- Support financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes through advanced data techniques.
- Present finding to senior leadership, including the VP of Finance, with clear recommendations based on analytical insights.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in data analysis with a focus on financial analytics.
- Proven experience in data analysis, with strong knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Python, and VBA.
- Skilled in automating data processes and streamlining workflows.
- Experience analyzing POS data to support marketing and sales strategies.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting fundamentals.
- Ability to manipulate large datasets and perform complex data analysis.
- Passion for leveraging data to drive business growth and financial success.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- High level of initiative, energy, and passion for data analysis and business performance improvement.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar.
- Background in retail, food service, or consumer product industries is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
