Our work environment includes: - Casual work attire - On-the-job training - Flexible working hours **Position: Kitchen Team Member** As a Kitchen Team Member, you will prepare food and other items for the kitchen and other areas of the restaurant. You will assist your manager in the kitchen, bar, and dining areas. In addition, you will help out in the cooler, dishwashing station, and other areas of the kitchen as needed. **Responsibilities**: - Follow the "First Serve" policy and understand that each "First Use" item is used only once. - Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment. - Prepare ingredients for cooking by opening various containers or containers of ingredients. - Cook food and beverages by following specific steps. - Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc. - Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly. - Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines. - Ensure that there is an orderly line for any items or foods that are coming out. - Ensure that there is a set schedule for prepping for meals. - Assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed (e.g., dishwashing, back of the house, etc.). **Experience**: - Food preparation experience including: Measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling. - Using various types of cooking equipment and appliances. - Using a range to prepare food.
