We are currently seeking applicants for the position of **Continuous Improvement CO-OP Student.**

Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Continuous Improvement, the Continuous Improvement (CI) Co-op Student will be responsible to help identify and implement improvement initiatives that impact people, processes and systems with the help of senior team members. They will work across several departments at varying levels of hierarchy in the organization. They should be able to build relationships quickly and take a people first approach by listening to all levels of the organization. They should be humble and ask a lot of questions but also have the confidence to take on a project and be accountable for the outcome. They should have a willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team get projects over the finish line.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support Continuous Improvement team with on-going initiatives;
- Help identify potential areas for improvement;
- Labour studies of existing equipment to update standards;
- Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production;
- Actively participate in weekly CI prioritization meetings;
- Other duties as may be required.

Qualifications:

- Must be currently attending a post-secondary institution with a focus in science, engineering or business;
- Have a positive attitude with an open mind to change;
- Have the ability to inspire others, creating and maintaining a blameless approach;
- Build relationships quickly within a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work with limited supervision and achieve results;
- Strong in MS Office (especially Excel).
