Job Posting - Water Transfer Foreman **MAXX North America Services Ltd**., one of Alberta’s most progressive and innovative oilfield service companies, is looking to hire a motivated, capable, and dynamic Supervisor to work within our growing Water Management division. This opportunity represents a compelling career challenge for someone looking to get in on the ground floor with an up-and-coming company that has a strong leadership team based in Edmonton. The role requires travel to Maxx’s project sites across Canada and is a field-based position. **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Accountable for the health and safety of all staff within the Division; - Lead the development of cost estimates (including RFP & RFQ) and approve the estimates prior to communicating with the client; - Effectively manage all resources (people, financial & equipment) to ensure maximum efficiency in planning, forecasting, and allocation; - Accountable to ensure that Maxx personnel are technically competent and qualified as necessary to perform their assigned roles and responsibilities; - Accountable to ensure equipment utilization is always maximized; - The safe and reliable operation of all equipment within the Division; - Accountable and responsible for the development and management of budgets, costs, and margins for the Division; - Accountable to prepare and present cost analysis for staff and equipment; - Develop and foster an environment which actively enables and encourages employee innovation, continuous improvement, and commitment to operational excellence; - Ensures compliance to all corporate maintenance practices and procedures; - Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, provincial, and local regulatory requirements; - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures pertaining to operations and maintenance. **Skills and Experience**: - Experience in the oil and gas industry with preference to water management operations - 3 - 5 years of leadership experience - Knowledge and experience with water management related work including but not limited to: - O&G fluids / water management experience required - Long distance water transfer - On-lease water pumping and truck fill stations - Pipeline de-watering - Pipeline hydrotesting - Project management - Well pointing - Flood relief & water diversion - Mine de-watering - Experience in reading and interpreting contract requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude is a MUST Maxx North America Services is fast-growing, privately held, owner-operated Canadian corporation offering competitive wages and benefits, a friendly team atmosphere, and a family-based company culture.
