**Water and Sewer Foreman (OUT OF TOWN WORK)**

Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Water and Sewer Foreman to work on underground / water & sewer projects across Western Canada. **Duties include (but are not limited to)**:

- Quality management - working with project management and survey / consultant teams to ensure that workmanship meets / exceeds specifications
- Health and safety management including hazard identification and analysis, worker competencies and HSE reporting
- Schedule management - ensure project timelines are maintained
- Provide supervision on site and daily direction to crew
- Delegation of tasks for all crew members
- Site maintenance - management of site housekeeping in accordance with client and company guidelines
- Lead inspections and incidents - address deficiencies / issues through corrective actions
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity

**Required Skills**:

- 3+ years of experience as an Underground Foreperson with sewer & water projects
- Underground utility rehabilitation / replacement experience is an asset
- Strong time management skills - able to keep crews to task and maintain an established work schedule to complete the projects in a timely fashion
- Organized and able to complete regular project documentation
- Able to work independently and follow instruction from the superintendent
- Able to support other positions as needed
- Strong communication skills - able to delegate and provide instructions clearly with sufficient detail
- Proven leadership capabilities and able to mentor workers for advancement
- First Aid and other certifications are considered assets
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract

- Standard First Aid
- Leadership for Safety Excellence
- Confined Space Entry
