**Key Responsibilities**:
- Employee Relations - Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Facilitate conflict resolution and provide guidance on workplace issues. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Talent management - in collaboration with the Human Resources Coordinator, support the full cycle recruitment process.
- Employee engagement - provide support with the new hire onboarding process, facilitate New Hire Orientations, assist with annual engagement survey process.
- Performance Management - Support managers in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback, Develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed, Promote a culture of continuous feedback and professional development.
- Assist with group health benefits administration, short and long-term disability management.
- Health and safety policy compliance, including WorkSafe BC injury reporting and return to work management, Support of the HSE program across all dealerships.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of various company HR policies and programs.
- Provide any other day-to-day support to the Human Resources Manager, in support of the overall departmental goals and objectives.
**Key Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive HR generalist experience dealing with numerous facets of HR.
- You are the type of individual that sees no problem too big and no detail too small - you are self-motivated and always empowered to find solutions.
- Outstanding time-management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under short deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Proficient in utilizing MS office suite of products, Google Drive, experience with applicant tracking systems. Experience with Canada Life Group Administration, Payworks and Breezy HR ATS is a plus.
- ** MUST** be relationship focused, with an approachable style and ability to establish rapport with employees and key partners at all levels.
