BBTV is seeking a creative digital content expert to drive the growth of YouTube channels dedicated to entertainment properties pertaining to film, television, music, or sports content. In this role, you will embody the creator of a major brand by effectively packaging video clips and maximizing shareability via optimizing thumbnails, titles and descriptions. You are not required to shoot content, but rather curate existing content in AdobePro to tell a story and generate interest on YouTube.

Our Content Management team works with some of the largest media companies and sports leagues in the world including household names like Sony Pictures, Paramount Global, the NBA, WMG, and other notable entertainment enterprises. Please note this is an entry level position.

Reporting to the Director of Channel Management while being supported by their Channel Management Lead, you will be strategizing about our channels, watching and clipping segments to be optimized into long and short form clips and compilations, and delivering high-quality engaging video content on a daily and weekly basis to our audiences. This role will include conceptualizing titles, thumbnails, copywriting, and leveraging AI whenever possible. You are knowledgeable of trending topics and should excel at generating ideas, scripting content, compiling footage, and choosing imagery to create engaging videos.

This is a Hybrid position based in Vancouver, BC with two days in-office.

**Responsibilities**- Re-imagine and repurpose existing content clips from popular entertainment franchises (films, TV series, sports highlights, etc.)-
- Program content calendars based on channel strategies and industry trends/research-
- Contribute to all creative stages — including conceptualization, production, and editing-
- Create social cut downs for other video platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)-
- Research and identify content, trends, and events that are relevant to the channel audiences and program content accordingly to maximize viewership-
- Ensure the successful delivery of video projects in collaboration with other producers and editors on assigned channels-
- Keep projects and working media organized, as well as maintain accurate and detailed records of daily production-
- Monitor comments, messages, and community interactions on channels and engage with viewers in a manner that aligns with the brand voice-
- Suggest formatting for titles, video thumbnails and other graphics as needed-
- Support in gathering analytical data on video performance to track key metrics and form insights-
- Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT and other incoming technologies to find creative efficiencies- Additional duties as assigned by the team when required

**Qualifications**- Excellent eye for content and clips that will resonate with audiences-
- Working knowledge of video editing tools (AdobePro) to select and package content-
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal presentation, writing, and delivery-
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and time management skills with a proven ability to deliver multiple production projects from start to finish-
- A passion for film, television, and/or sports, along with a deep understanding of digital marketing within the entertainment community will be considered a strong asset-
- Strong knowledge and passion for pop culture and trends on YouTube and in the general social media space-
- Effective and creative problem solving skills and a proven track record of proactively improving processes-
- YouTube certification in Audience Growth, Copyright or Content Strategy will be considered a strong asset-
- Passion for AI and incoming technologies is a bonus- Ability to share **samples of work relevant** **to this position**, indicating your specific role in the production process
