As the Resident Services Assistant, you will provide administrative support by managing office tasks, tracking resident information and maintaining accurate tenancy files.

About The Role

The Resident Services Assistant role involves many administrative and support duties at the community. Key responsibilities include managing reception tasks, handling inquiries, coordinating guest services, and maintaining meticulous records and files. The assistant also manages office operations, prepares documents, and oversees resident accounts and tenancy changes in compliance with privacy laws and regulations. Additional duties include assisting with resident relocations, tracking meal attendances for billing, and handling financial transactions such as rent collection and bank deposits. This role is pivotal in supporting the Administrator, especially in their absence, by resolving resident issues and maintaining critical communication and organizational systems within the community. Victoria is rated in the top twenty of world cities for quality of life. This role will serve our Shannon Oaks community in Oak Bay.

**Requirements**:

- Secondary school graduation
- Formal training in basic accounting and the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Completion of the Emergency First Aid - Community Care training with St. Johns Ambulance or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Resident Services Assistant or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Compensation & Benefits
