Toronto, Canada Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Full time

The Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics is a world-class program created to transform our understanding of mental health by organizing, integrating, analyzing, visualizing and modeling data across all levels of the brain —from genes to circuits to behaviour. This multimodal data is gathered across the clinical environment including genetic, epigenetic, MRI, DTI, fMRI, hd-EEG, actigraphy and electronic medical record data. Teams will employ state-of-the-art techniques including topological data analysis, machine learning and multiscale computational modeling to accelerate identification and treatment of mental health disorders. Research is performed in an open, team science environment, with an emphasis on reproducible data-driven research and a patient-centric approach. A focus on global collaboration is key to transforming our understanding of mental health and its treatment. The centre will operate as an incubator for medical technologies to identify, manage and treat mental illness, while shaping policy at national and global levels.

We are seeking a high-level administrative assistant to support the Scientific Director in the Krembil Centre. This position will also be responsible for providing core administrative support as required to the Managers and teams that report to the Director, as well as liaising with other internal CAMH departments (e.g., Finance, HR and the Research Office) to ensure consistency with CAMH administrative processes and requirements. You maintain the Director’s schedule by booking appointments and scheduling meetings with both internal and external partners and provide assistance, prepare documentation and gather information on a wide range of confidential organizational, employee, and program related projects and issues. In this role, you will respond to inquiries, concerns and messages on the Director’s behalf and coordinate communications to relevant stakeholders. Other accountabilities include but are not limited to planning, scheduling and organizing meetings/events, including booking venues, organizing catering, etc. You will compose and edit documents, sometimes on behalf of the Director, such as memos, letters, reports, and contracts; prepare multimedia presentations; assist with grant/funding proposals; and take minutes as required. A key responsibility of this role is to process and track invoices and expense claims; monitor budgets and assist with the development of annual submissions and reports; and coordinate requests for procurement documents. You will provide support with confidential human resource activities including recruitment, orientation, staffing changes, and onboarding/offboarding. You will participate in special projects and committees. You will support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements. This position is located at 250 College Street.

**Qualifications**:
You have strong financial skills and previous experience tracking expenditures and monitoring budgets. The ability to work effectively in a wide range of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds is mandatory. Bilingualism (English/French) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.

**Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.**

**Please Note**:This full-time, contract position is NOT part of any bargaining unit.

**Salary Range**: Competitive salary and benefits package

**CAMH is a Tobacco-Free Organization.**

**CAMH is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and is a teaching hospital and research institute. As a CAMH employee, you will be expected to actively support CAMH’s teaching and research activities, in addition to supporting the clinical work of the hospital.**

**At CAMH, we strive to be an equitable and inclusive employer. Our commitment to equity is grounded in an institution-wide commitment to achieving a working, teaching, and learning environment that is free of discrimination and harassment.**
