The Crupi Group of Companies services Toronto and the surrounding areas in the road construction, material and maintenance industries. We have been a family-run company since 1951, and we are currently looking for a Health & Safety Administrator to join our team.

The Health and Safety Administrator will be responsible to assist with the health and safety programs and work closely with employees, supervisors and managers to promote initiatives associated with improving compliance in our various H&S programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with scheduling and modifying in-house training programs.
- Organize and assist with safety meetings, safety talks and monitoring compliance.
- Organize new worker orientation and on-line training.
- Record and update training records, safety talks and safety equipment records.
- Assist with creating, maintaining and modifying safe work practices, safe job procedures and job hazard assessments.
- Assist with maintaining and updating all safety-related documents, including SDS and procedures.
- Report daily safety paperwork submission to respective managers.
- Support programs to maintain COR compliance.
- Assist with incident investigations.
- Submit relevant documentation to WSIB.
- Create summaries and safety reports when required.
- Visit sites as required (sites are within Toronto/GTA).

**Qualifications**:

- 0-1 year of health & safety experience.
- Familiar with the OHSA, including Construction Projects Regulation and Industrial Regulation.
- Knowledge of WSIB reporting and return to work programs would be an asset
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Great interpersonal skills
- Strong communications skills
- Excellent written communication, including report-writing, drafting documents, etc.
- Exceptionally organized
- Ability to demonstrate assertiveness when required
- Class G driver’s license
- Ability to drive to sites independently.
- Proficiency in safety software (SiteDocs) would be an asset.
- Education: Certificate, diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety would be an asset
