As we continue to invest in the future success of our students, Yorkville is seeking an **Associate Dean of Business, British Columbia** to play an integral role in Yorkville’s vision of transforming lives by championing academic excellence and innovation in business/management education. The Yorkville Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is available from the British Columbia, Ontario and New Brunswick campuses and is designed for mid-career professionals who want a solid business education for future professional growth in any role or industry.
Reporting to the Vice-President Academic and BC Campus Principal, the Associate Dean of Business provides academic and professional leadership for the effective delivery of the BBA program at the New Westminster Campus. They will collaborate with campus and national leadership, be a member of the National Curriculum Committee and chair the BC BBA Curriculum Committee, leading program planning and development to ensure the continuing quality and currency of the BBA program.
A seasoned and decisive leader, the Associate Dean of Business, BC will possess academic administrative experience particularly with respect to establishing consensus, and the ability to attract, inspire and lead faculty with diverse interests. They will be a builder, who will demonstrate a realistic understanding of the challenges, ambiguities and prospects that lie ahead. Essential to the role is a commitment to innovation in learning, entrepreneurship, principles of Indigeneity and reconciliation, and advancing academic excellence through diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability. An earned doctorate from a recognized university in a related field is required.
