DEV Hotel and Conference Centre is looking for an outstanding individual to join us in the position of **Front Office Manager.**
The DEV facility is home to the largest hotel and conference center in Eastern Ontario. The site is located on 75 acres of indoor and outdoor space in Cornwall, Ontario and is ideal for gatherings and conferences of any size. The hotel offers over 500 guest rooms, as well as 70,000 square feet of dynamic and flexible meeting space. For decades, the facility has continued to evolve and is the site of choice for corporate conferences, sporting events, government training programs, and more.

- *_Summary*
The Front Desk Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily operations in accordance with the hotel's activities. In general, this position is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and quality of service delivery. The individual plans, organizes, and directs all activities of the rooms division team to meet the needs and expectations of our guests while ensuring that company standards are met, and cost efficiency of the service offered. Duties
- Ensure and maintain exceptional customer service at all times
- Have a strong sense of leadership, and be an excellent communicator and trainer.
- Master the tasks, procedures and policies of the rooms’ division team in order to ensure the smooth operation and collaboration between departments under his/her supervision.
- Be attentive to the needs of guests and hotel employees.
- Coach - train - encourage and motivate associates. Engage with associates.
- Ensure that the quality and standards of the hotel are met.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction during and after service delivery, and resolving complaints as appropriate.
- Maintain and develop an experienced team
- Support & provide guidance to the team during guest check-in and check-out, and any other incoming requests from the departments under his/her supervision.
- Open/transparent communication with all other departments
- Ensure the general cleanliness and maintenance of the facility
- Ensure that occupational health and safety is a priority

**Qualifications required**
- 2 years or less of experience in a similar position in the hotel industry
- Experience in a unionized environment is an asset
- Bilingual - oral and written (French and English)

L’hôtel DEV est le plus grand hôtel et centre de conférences de l’est de l’Ontario. Le site se situe sur 75 acres d’espace intérieur et extérieur à Cornwall, Ontario, et est idéal pour les grandes conférences. L’hôtel propose plus de 500 chambres, ainsi que 70 000 pieds carrés d’espaces de réunion. Depuis plusieurs décennies, l'installation continue à évoluer et est le site de choix pour les conférences d'entreprises, les événements sportifs, les programmes de formation gouvernementaux, et plus encore.
L’individu relèvera du Directeur général et supervisera les équipes de la réception, les téléphonistes, et de l’entretien ménager. Ce poste senior travaillera en collaboration directe avec le comité exécutif en offrant son soutien aux départements opérationnels. Avec une expérience autant pour la clientèle que pour nos employés en priorité, ce qui est au cœur de tout ce que nous faisons, la personne choisie sera responsable pour tous les aspects concernant le séjour de la clientèle de l’hôtel, de veiller aux opérations de l’entretien ménager et de la réception.

Le / la Gérant (e) de la réception est responsable de veiller au bon déroulement des opérations quotidiennes en fonction des activités de l’hôtel. De façon générale, ce poste s’occupe de s’assurer de la satisfaction des invités et de la prestation de service offert. L’individu planifie, organise, et dirige toutes les activités de l’équipe d’hébergement afin de satisfaire aux besoins et aux attentes de nos invités tout en assurant que les standards de la compagnie sont respectés, et la rentabilité du service offert.
