About the Job

We are looking for an Implementation Specialist to join our team in managing paid professional services from our SMB, Mid-Market, and strategic Enterprise customers. You’ll be responsible for setting up these customers for success by delivering configuration, training, and launch projects. Our Implementation Specialists have excellent customer engagement skills, strong technical problem-solving ability, and can manage multiple projects at once.
- Please note the preferred location for this role is Victoria, BC, but we are open to hiring remotely within British Columbia._

Our Implementation Specialists...- Lead the post-sale project management and product onboarding
- Plan and execute working solutions to Checkfront based on customers' business requirements
- Deliver high-quality custom training sessions in one-on-one or group settings virtually
- Ensure these customers are prepared to go live and achieve long-term success with our online booking platform
- Able to navigate project hurdles and communicate value
- Partner with our Sales and Customer Success Manager teams on pre and post-sales activities - project scoping, planning and handoff
- Develop an extensive working knowledge of checkfront's products, services, and best practices
- Seek a deep understanding of each customer's and vertical/industry business goals and outcomes to deliver top-notch product support, consulting, and guidance
- Track and analyze trends from customer questions, comments, and concerns - share feedback with the Business, Product, and Development teams
- Other related duties as assigned by Director

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring...
- 1-3 years of experience in account management, sales, support, technical, project management or equivalent role
- Strong technical knowledge, from education or experience and previous experience with technology-based solutions
- Advanced technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and guiding technical concepts to a variety of customers
- Organized with exceptional follow-through
- Interest or experience in working with the tourism, travel or SaaS industries

Bonus points for
- Experience using tools such as Checkfront, Google Apps, Zendesk, JIRA, Salesforce, Asana

- Fluency in other languages
