**Job Posting: Wholesale Trade Representative (Business Development Executive)**
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Wholesale Trade Representative (Business Development Executive) to join our team full-time (30 to 40 hours per week). This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our business development efforts, where you will focus on building sales and driving growth in Canada and the USA, while working closely with the sales and marketing teams to implement strategies that achieve our goals.
In this role, you will:
- **Develop Sales Opportunities**: Actively identify and pursue new sales leads in both Canada and the USA to meet and exceed sales targets.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
- **Market Research & Competitor Analysis**: Conduct research to identify trends, competitive activities, and new opportunities in the market.
- **Sales & Marketing Strategy**: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies tailored to our target markets.
- **Cold Calling & Lead Generation**: Engage in cold calling to generate new business leads, converting prospects into clients.
- **Product Knowledge**: Demonstrate expertise in stainless steel products and effectively communicate their value to clients.
- **Sales Reporting**: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team.
- **Event Participation**: Assist with organizing and attending marketing events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the company’s offerings.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain a network of clients across Canada and the USA, while also identifying new opportunities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to ensure the business is on track to meet goals.
- Use CRM software and other tools to manage and track leads, sales activities, and customer interactions.
- Participate in cold calling and lead generation activities.
- Prepare and present marketing materials and product information to potential clients.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Proven experience in B2B sales and business development, preferably in the metal, steel, or stainless steel industries.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Experience with cold calling and lead generation for new business development.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and opportunities.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and act on market trends.
- Self-motivated and highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
- A passion for achieving goals and driving business growth.
**Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required)**:
- Knowledge of the Steel/Stainless Steel industry
- Knowledge of marketing techniques and experience developing sales strategies.
- Experience working with clients across North America.

**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in sales and business development.
