Located at the heart of the Cité de la Biotech in Laval, Prometic is in full growth-mode now that we are commercializing a treatment recently approved by the FDA for orphan diseases affecting children. This treatment, made of plasma-derived proteins, will allow these children to have a new pathway to hope.

To contribute to this revolutionary and innovative project, we are looking for a **Material Management Technician.**

The **Material Management Technician **will contribute to the team’s success by:

- Being responsible for the reception, storage, and output of raw materials, equipment, supplies, finished and semi-finished products in accordance with the applicable procedures. Load, unload and move products and materials as required.
- Using the ERP system to receive all materials, equipment and consumable items into a controlled GMP warehouse.
- Ensuring the proper storage of standard production waste as well as biomedical waste of the plant.
- Handling all import/export documents related to the receipt and shipments of materials.
- Liaising with the Planner and Procurement to ensure that adequate and appropriate levels of materials, equipment and consumables are maintained.

**You are the right person for this role because you**:

- Have a minimum of high school diploma or relevant college diploma
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Data entry skills Excel)
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, French and English, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Have knowledge of cold chain management in GMP environment (a plus)
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Are able to physically lift heavy objects and handle chemicals (product handling).

Logistic and transport experience (International Ground / Air expedition) a plus
