**Material Management, Technician**
At Prometic Bioproduction Inc**.**, every employee works to save lives, one role at a time. Located in the heart of the Biotech City in Laval, Prometic is experiencing rapid growth with the commercialization of an FDA-approved treatment for a rare disease affecting children and adults. This treatment, composed of plasma-derived proteins, offers a new path to hope for these patients.
**To contribute to the team's success, the Material Management Technician, reporting to the Materials Management, Supervisor, will mainly**:
- Be responsible for receiving, storing and issuing raw materials, equipment, supplies, finished and semi-finished products in accordance with applicable procedures. Load, unload and move products and materials as required.
- Use the ERP system to receive all materials, equipment and consumables into a GMP-compliant warehouse.
- Ensure proper storage of standard production waste as well as biomedical waste from the plant.
- Manage import/export documents related to the receipt and shipment of materials.
- Liaise with planner and procurement to ensure adequate and appropriate levels of materials, equipment and consumables are maintained.
**Requirements**:
- A high school diploma or a college diploma in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (data entry skills in Excel).
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
- Knowledge of cold chain management in a GMP environment (an asset).
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and handle chemicals.
- Experience in logistics and transportation (international shipping by land or air) (an asset).

- Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and suppliers in Quebec as necessary._
