**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

- Manage all aspects of accounting functions for Amer Canada Inc.
- Responsible for accuracy of G/L and Financial Statements
- Lead and support on tax reporting, Internal and External audits
- Work in partnership with business units for risk controls and compliances with IFRS and company policies
- Work with HQ and Shared Services on continuous process improvements
- Responsible for timely and quality closes for month-end and Year-end
- Collaboration across our global organization to support internal accounting needs
- Lead other special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed

**REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Eight (8) years experience in Financial Accounting, 3 years team leadership experience.
- Experience in public accounting preferred
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Excel, Power Point

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

This role will manage a financial analyst. As a manager, this role is expected to carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and providing constructive feedback; addressing concerns and resolving problems.

This is a full time, salaried position which includes a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan.
