**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Lead monthly closings and adeptly prepare monthly financial statements
- Develop and monitor KPIs, metrics, and management reports to guide senior management in strategic decisions
- Enhance cash flow management and foster day-to-day banking relationships
- Coordinate the preparation of internal and external financial statements
- Provide comprehensive management reports supporting effective decision-making
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting
- Offer recommendations for benchmarking financial and operating performance
- Liaise with external auditors, leading financial audits and suggesting improvements
- Provide financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions
- Participate in, and often lead, systems improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with statutory taxes and financial regulations
- Undertake other duties as required
**Qualifications**:
CPA designation
- 5-10 years of experience in the preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of A/R, A/P, and G/L, including reconciliations
- Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels
**Technical Competencies**:
- Proficient computer skills, including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet, and word processing programs
