Join us today as we are currently hiring a Recruitment Manager based in Dartmouth, NS.

The Recruitment Manager for Seaboard Armour Transportation and Logistics, you will oversee strategic workforce planning and recruitment efforts for a diverse range of positions including truck drivers, laborers, mechanics, corporate office staff, and operations personnel. Reporting directly to the HR Director of Seaboard Armour Transportation and Logistics, you will manage a team of recruitment professionals and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet our staffing needs effectively. You will partner with the broader HR team support initiatives in engagement and retention.

**Core Job Functions**:

- Develop and execute strategic workforce plans in collaboration with business leaders to forecast hiring needs and capabilities across multiple departments.
- Lead and mentor a team of HR Recruitment Professionals, ensuring high performance standards and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Partner with internal clients to provide expert advice on hiring strategies, organizational structure, and employee onboarding processes.
- Spearhead the development, implementation, and enhancement of comprehensive onboarding programs tailored to various employee groups.
- Collaborate with business units and corporate services to design and maintain engaging training plans and materials that support employee development and growth.
- Drive innovative retention initiatives in partnership with stakeholders to foster a positive work environment and reduce turnover.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends, such as exit interviews, turnover rates, and retention data, to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Perform recruitment activities for corporate recruiting of office staff and act as a back up for the team for all other types of recruitment
- Perform other duties as assigned to support HR and business objectives.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or a related field; or relevant work experience
- Proven experience (5 years) in recruitment, with a focus on hiring diverse roles within the transportation or logistics industry preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team and driving performance excellence with 2-5 years of management experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective workforce plans and recruitment strategies.
- Bilingualism considered an asset
