**Duties**

**Front-of-House Operations**
- Oversee day-to-day FOH operations, establishing and ensuring adherence to service and quality standards, policies, and procedures. Plan, coordinate, and lead FOH service.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure FOH operations and service meet the current needs of the business.
- Schedule FOH staff to ensure adequate coverage and smooth operations while meeting target labour budgets.
- Step in and provide support as needed to ensure smooth service and uphold standards.
- Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, implementing service improvements as needed.
- Create exceptional customer experiences through staff leadership, training, and setting high standards for service and ambiance.
- Oversee departmental stock, manage inventory, and ensure timely and accurate supplier orders. Organize delivery and inventory records, and collaborate with BOH to address shortages and storage issues.

**Staff Supervision & Training**
- Hire, train, and supervise FOH staff.
- Monitor team performance, offer constructive feedback, and develop training programs to enhance skills and service standards.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure accountability among team members.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures regarding safety, sanitation, and service.

**Marketing & Brand Promotion**
- Contribute to the development and promotion of the brand and café.
- Collaborate with the team to support promotional initiatives, including day-to-day social media updates about the café’s food and beverage offerings.

**Financial & Administrative Duties**
- Oversee cash-handling procedures and reconcile daily sales.
- Support the Operations Manager in implementing and managing department budgets, costing, and cost control procedures.

**Health, Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high cleanliness and service standards.
- Oversee safe food-handling and alcohol service practices.
- Ensure facilities are well-maintained, stocked, and meet health code requirements.
- Perform other duties as requested by ownership, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the success and growth of the business.
- Comply with administrative policies and procedures as set forth from time to time.
- Carry out other duties as assigned, consistent with your abilities and responsibilities.

Pay: $52,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
