We are looking for an experienced cook with the desire to exceed and the passion to learn in the Food Industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
- Reports to manager that is attainable at the time - Chef de Partie, Executive Chef.
- Preparations of menu items according to specifications and guest requests.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Assists with quality control.
- Performs stock rotation.
- Adhere to food standards set out by The Beacon’s kitchen management.
- Having a thorough knowledge of The Beacon’s products and services.
- Minimum three years experience in fast paced kitchen / line service.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Basic knowledge of WHMIS and safe food handling.
- Professional work ethic.
- Excellent knife skills
- Assists with quality control.
- Performs stock rotation.
- Adhere to food standards set out by The Beacon’s kitchen management.
- Having a thorough knowledge of The Beacon’s products and services.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jordan Station, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
