**Overview**

**Responsibilities****:

- Cook 1**
- Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
- Reports to manager that is attainable at the time - Chef de Cuisine, Junior Sous Chef, Executive Chef.
- Preparations of menu items according to specifications and Guest requests.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Assists with quality control.
- Performs stock rotation.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Responsibilities - Cook 2**
- Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
- Prepares and cooks items for breakfast buffet and the lunch a la carte menu.
- Sets up line for the lunch buffet when required and cooks all menu items on a daily basis.
- Work in and maintain a clean environment.
- Assists in the preparation of stocks and soups as required under the direction of the Executive Sous Chef.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Experience****:

- Cook 1**
- 3 years experience as a cook in a restaurant.
- Red Seal Certification.
- Strong knowledge of WHMIS, food safety, handling, and preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent knife skills.

**Experience****:

- Cook 2**
- Theoretical training at a community college in a cook apprenticeship program for 1 year and 6000 hours of in-house on-the-job training under certified Chef or equivalent experience of 3-5 years.
- Excellent eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills for cutting, chopping and arrangement of meals on plate.
- Current Safe Food Handler’s Certificate.

**Shift Details**:

- Timing: Saturdays & Sundays starting at 2pm
- Pay Rate: $19.95-21.35/hr
- Location: Jordan Station, ON L0R 1S0
