Medical Aesthetic Laser Technician

cosmetic dermatological services provided by experienced Dermatologists,

General Practitioners, and our certified service providers. Stratica Dermatology

was founded in 2005 and continues to provide diverse treatment protocols for

dermatologic disorders for all age groups.

**PURPOSE**

This job description aims to set the parameters of the Certified Laser Technician

so Stratica Dermatology can add a valued new team member to our team

Potential of full-time hours with clinic growth.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Performing laser and cosmetic treatments such as the Pico Laser, C02

resurfacing laser, Pulse Dye vascular laser, microneedling, chemical peels,

and facials.
- Possess extensive knowledge on medical grade skincare lines.
- Exhibit exceptional proven sales skills to suggest services and medicalgrade

skincare.
- Experience conducting thorough consultations to ensure conversion and

recommendation of appropriate treatments based on client concern.
- Providing superior customer service and communication with clients to

ensure satisfaction and proper patient education.

Comfortable marketing themselves on social media channels and in clinic

to ensure schedule is full.
- Willingness to help at front desk and perform MOA duties when needed.
- Maintain detailed treatment records through EMR system.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment for clients and staff. Perform

sterilization of cosmetic tools when needed.
- Uphold Laser safety protocols.
- Assist in daily and monthly maintenance of medical and laser devices.
- Maintain a high level of accountability.
- Possess a strong vested interest in learning and development to advance

knowledge of treatment and products.
- Participated in and complete all training and development programs.
- Always follow clinic policies and procedures.
- Perform staff treatments when schedule allows.
- Perform other duties as requested.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must LOVE people
- Certified Laser Technician certificate from an accredited institution or

equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a Certified Laser Technician in Med Spa or

Dermatology clinic
- Advance knowledge of Pico, C02, and Vascular Laser (preferred)
- Experience with ZO Skin Health and AlumierMD (preferred)
- Experience with MindBody and/ or Zenoti or other EMR systems (preferred)
- Existing social media presence and following (preferred)
- Existing patient following (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
- Flexible availability, willingness to work weekends and evenings.
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fashionable and Professional Appearance
- Passionate about cosmetic treatments and skincare

- Proficiency in English
