Under the general direction of the Senior Speech-Language Pathologist, Prevention Services, responsible for providing comprehensive clinical speech services, coordination and development of selected Program components and promoting in the community awareness and maximal use/preservation of speech abilities. **QUALIFICATIONS**: **Education, Training And Experience**: Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHHPBC).Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or equivalent from a recognized university.Current knowledge base in all areas of speech-language pathology encompassed in the Prevention Services Speech Clinics. Valid BC Driver's Licence/car required. Public speaking skills required. Hanen certification - level one - "It Takes Two to Talk" desirable. **Skills And Abilities**: - Ability to be creative in Program development and client management. - Communication skills, both written and oral. - Counselling skills. - Ability to use judgement in dealing with sensitive client and Program issues. - Ability to function effectively as a team member. - Ability to initiate self-evaluation of work standards and professional issues. - Ability to work independently, demonstrates time management skills, and prioritizes workload. - Ability to operate a personal computer is an asset. - Ability to conduct adult education groups on preschool speech and language topics. **Job Requirements**:
