**About The Role**

**This temporary full-time position of 12 months**supports the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions across the organization. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you’ll handle invoice entry, payment processing, statements, and vendor communications. Your role helps safeguard our financial integrity and supports the overall mission of helping seniors experience life well in supportive communities.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Invoice Processing & System Maintenance**
- Enter and post vendor invoices, reimbursements, and credit card claims
- Process semi-monthly payment runs to ensure invoices are paid on time
- Reconcile vendor and corporate credit card statements
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with CRA and Worksafe BC
- Ensure internal controls are followed and suggest improvements when needed

**Team Support & Vendor Communication**
- Assist with audit requests and financial reporting
- Respond to payment inquiries from vendors, team members, and internal departments
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and efficient workflow

**Requirements**:
**Education & Experience**
- Minimum: High school diploma with courses in accounting or bookkeeping
- Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping or accounting experience is preferred

**Skills & Abilities**
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Proficient in Excel and other financial software
- Accurate, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong communicator—verbal and written
- Flexible, collaborative, and values-driven

**Compensation & Benefits**

This temporary full-time position of 12 months offers an hourly wage of $25.24. You will be welcomed into a warm and supportive work environment.
