**Job Summary**
We are currently hiring for a Tower Controller. The Tower Controller is responsible to ensure the efficient and effective control and communication of the flow of work in the Body and Paint departments. Tower Controller acts as Production Coordinator and ensure productivity and time efficiency. The Tower Controller will arrange for any sublets and will be responsible for other administrative tasks as assigned. Performing all job responsibilities to ensure that the mission statement is adhered to: “Dedicated to being the best collision centre you have ever done business with” Ensuring excellent customer service and continuous quality improvement.

**What you offer**
**General Responsibilities**:
- Dispatch all work assignments to the Body, Paint and Automotive technicians as it relate to their capabilities and any time limits (due to scheduling of time off, i.e. vacations).
- Ensure the ultimate efficiency of the shop by organizing work flow and working with the Body Shop manager
- Work closely with all Estimators to keep them informed on the status of parts ordered and vehicle repairs so they in turn can be proactive in informing customers.
- Proactively stay in contact with Parts person, so as to stay current to any issues arising from back order parts, or miss ordered parts
- Be readily accessible to Estimators, Body and Paint technicians.
- Input sublet invoices, paying of the Body and Paint staff technician’s time tickets, closing work orders, and completing necessary insurance documents.
- Ensure that all parts are charged out by the Parts person properly and accurately
- Ensure that at month end all R.O’s have been closed (for vehicles that have been delivered) and that any additional or amendments be transferred to a new R.O
- To assist the Collision Centre to maintain the values, mission and vision of the company
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures of the Tony Graham Automotive Group.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation (i.e., Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Human Rights Code, Highway Traffic Act, etc.)
- Any other responsibilities are required and/or as assigned
**Education and Qualification**
- Completion of Secondary School
- 2-3 years relevant experience (previous Body Shop experience, an asset)
- Excellent Computer skills; knowledge of various software packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills; flexible, adaptable and reliable
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Proficient in time management and strong organizational skills in order to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure attention to detail
- Valid driver
