JOB DUTIES INCLUDE
- Opening and closing the Golf Pro Shop
- Accounting for all monies that pass through the Pro Shop
- Preparing daily deposits and reports
- Entering daily sales transactions into Quick Books
- Provide monthly financial reports
- Provide exemplary customer service which includes but is not limited to greeting members and the public, answering the phone, fielding and directing inquiries
- Sales/processing of memberships, punch passes, green cart rentals and inventory along with recording all such sales as directed
- Requisition and maintain sufficient inventory and supplies
- Booking and managing all tee times
- Registering golfers for league play and tournaments
- Overseeing setting up markers for league play
- Inputting scores into handicap program
- Assisting with tournament and event organization
- Communicating with Golf Maintenance staff on any tournament preparation and course closures
- Overseeing the charging, rotating and cleaning of golf carts
- Marketing of golf course, tournaments and events through all means to increase memberships and green fee players
- Utilizing the marketing team to prepare posters, social media posts advertising tournaments and special events
- Complete and manage the work schedule for employees and volunteers of golf operations
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of the Pro Shop
- Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage
- May perform other duties and functions as assigned based on business levels throughout the golf course and resort and any organizational changes as directed by the Executive Vice President

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Certified Golf Professional an asset
- Chrono Golf POS system
- Strong computer skills in MS Word and Excel software, QuickBooks program
- Strong knowledge of the game of golf, rules, tournament and league formats
- Adaptable to a busy and fast paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors
- Must be able to bend, reach, lift at least 30lbs
- Must be able to walk and stand on average of 8-10 hours per shift
- Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
