Our Showroom Manager has a direct impact on the customer experience through leadership, business development and direct sales. The Showroom Manager is responsible for directing sales and operating activities of the Calgary showroom. They will manage the showrooms sales, margin, inventory and expenses. **What you will do**: - Provide overall leadership, mentoring and coaching to the Calgary Showroom team - Recruit, train, develop, and provide day-to-day management for the showroom team - Create a customer centric environment from qualifying the customer to closing - Focus the sales team on client acquisition and the building of profitable client relationships - Establish a plan for the Showroom to meet the budgeted sales targets - Establish business development goals aimed at growth and increasing market share - Partner with marketing and leadership to develop marketing initiatives to enable the branch to meet targets - Develop and execute promotional events, trade shows and home shows - Accountable for the financial performance of the showroom, including sales and operating budgets **About You**: - You have an entrepreneurial spirit - You are passionate about creating a memorable customer experience - You have a “hands-on” management style and lead by example, inspiring and motivating - others to achieve the same—you never settle for “good enough" - You have experience managing a team and can cultivate individual team member growth - while encouraging overall team development - You have experience in a specialty retail setting, and may have gained your skills in a branch operation or working in a supplier environment - You have a keen eye for design, are passionate about your work and are reliable and accountable - Your knowledge and experience in the plumbing industry or product knowledge would be an asset but are not a ‘must-have’ **ROBINSON offers a competitive total rewards program including**: - An inclusive, fun and family-oriented work environment - Monthly bonus opportunities - Annual Profit Share - Paid Wellness Days - RRSP Matching - Employee Referral Bonus - Sabbatical Leave - Tuition reimbursement - Comprehensive benefits - Training and promotion opportunities Visit our careers site to explore more opportunities with ROBINSON Family-owned ROBINSON is a leading Canadian distributor of plumbing, heating, electrical, and lighting products.
