Café by day, bistro by night, we proudly play host to morning coffee and viennoiserie, breezy business lunches, weeknight rendezvous, lazy Sunday brunches and everything in between. Our menus feature a greatest hits list of timeless French classics — from traditional onion soup and steak tartare, to comforting boeuf Bourguignon and seafood bouillabaisse. On weekends, we invite our guests to rise and shine for a rich variety of pastries, crêpes, galettes and breakfast sandwiches.
Under the leadership of the General Manager, Café Lunette is seeking an experienced Bartender to deliver exceptional service to our guests, create exquisite cocktails, and expertly prepare a variety of beverages, while also serving delicious menu offerings.
**What you will be doing**:

- creating a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service;
- providing guest with food & beverage suggestions, while taking in consideration preferences, allergies, and dietary restrictions;
- promptly receiving drink order chits and preparing beverages;
- communicating beverage descriptions, special and information to guests and team members;
- stocking and maintaining all bar products including mise en place;
- checking and maintaining beer keg and liquor levels;
- counting and taking inventory of all beverages and supplies and assist manager with inventory ordering;
- other similar duties as assigned.

**The person we are looking for has**:

- a valid Smart Serve Certification;
- full-time availability in the summer;
- experience developing a bar program in the past is considered an asset;
- strong classic cocktail knowledge;
- wine knowledge;
- the ability to work effectively alone;
- passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service;
- strong communication skills;
- the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
