We are looking for a Project Scheduler (Temp) to join us in the exciting work we do in AES. Reporting to the Manager, Project Controls, i t’ll be your responsibility to ensure that all scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly on a wide portfolio of projects. In this position, you also get to handle full life-cycle project management for a suite of small, and medium sized projects to ensure they are working within the confines of set deadlines and provide analysis, recommendations, and progress reports to the stakeholders.

**What You Get To Do**:

- **Set Up of project baseline schedules**:

- Establish / Confirm project baseline schedules are in conformance with the project requirements.
- Work with the project teams to develop project plans, schedules, milestones and reporting in conformance with project requirements, and establish baseline documents to provide on-going monitoring.
- Assist in establishing key performance indicators to improve project operational efficiency.
- **Provide schedule updates and analysis**:

- Develop project schedules as per established customer requirements using scheduling software.
- Guide, supervise, support, train and conduct quality control on input and output of schedules.
- Review and compare impact of contractor schedules on the overall project schedule and provide analysis to the team and contractors.
- Support senior staff and ensure satisfaction of project milestones and customer requirements.
- Assist senior management to minimize risks through the provision of analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
- Support on overall project progress.
- **Project management process development**:

- Active leadership in the development and execution of project management processes within the organization to assist project teams to achieve commitments.

**Who You Are**:

- Minimum of a college diploma
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience
- Experience in Primavera P6 and MS Project is required
- Follow and lead by example regarding corporate health and safety guidelines
- Ability to work closely with both internal and external teams to collate, analyze, and provide feedback on projects regarding schedule, and progress information
- Excellent organizational, workload management and project management skills
- Excellent analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting capabilities
- Good understanding of Cost Management, Change Control, and Planning
- Proficient knowledge of Project Execution procedures for planning and scheduling
- Proficient knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software, related tools and techniques including Logic and CPM analysis, resource loading and levelling
