The Healthcare Finance team has an exciting opportunity to be a member of the group senior leadership team as Controller. As the Controller you will work closely with the VP, Finance and other senior team members in providing financial support and analysis for the Healthcare vertical.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to come on board our Corporate Finance team as our company is growing organically

**What your impact will be**:

- Understanding the divisional operations and how they drive the financial results;
- Preparing revenue recognition schedules and related journal entries for software implementation contracts. These contracts are accounted for using the percent complete method;
- Providing support to the divisional EVP’s and VP’s as needed;
- Preparing information requests and responding to questions during quarterly reviews and the annual audit; and
- Responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timely completion of the monthly financial statements.
- Review and analyze monthly results and prepare reporting to senior management
- Manage accounting staff including analyst, AR and AP
- Interact with internal and external auditors.
- Assisting with forecasting of net revenues and operating expenses;
- Assisting in the management of divisional work-in-process and accounts receivable including oversight of the collections process;
- Ensure that established control procedures are in place and identify control risks
- Assist in due diligence and integrating new acquisitions into the finance group
- Special projects & ad hoc reporting as required.

**What we are looking for**:

- Completion of a professional accounting designation program (CPA) is required.
- Excellent analytical, research and problem solving skills;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel;
- Strong communication and people skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing business environment;
- Ability to work independently and balance competing demands;
- Knowledge of Great Plains is an asset.
