Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabinetmaker to join our team of artisans. As a Skilled Cabinetmaker at Etherington Designs, you will play a pivotal role in the creation of custom cabinetry and furniture, contributing to the realization of our clients' design visions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and assemble custom cabinets, furniture, and millwork according to design specifications and project requirements.
- Select and work with a variety of high-quality woods, veneers, laminates, and other materials.
- Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure the highest level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality in all finished products.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans.
- Problem-solve and adapt to changes in project scope or design.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior cabinetmakers when required.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cabinetmaker, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in working with various wood species and materials.
- Knowledge of woodworking machinery and tools.
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Ontario G class license

**Job Types**: Contract, Freelance
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
