As the **Climate Change & Carbon Analyst**, you will contribute as an individual technical expert, skilled in the latest data management tools and visualization techniques. You will function as part of Canfor’s environment and sustainability team, supporting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions performance and related sustainability disclosures across the business. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and consistency of data generated internally, as well as managing the integration of data from supply chain partners. You will leverage your solid analytical skills to take initiative in providing business insights and will assess and perform quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of reported information. Helping to minimize carbon isn't an easy task, it's “emission” and you’re the best person for the job

In a perfect world, you have a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline as well as multiple years of experience in an analyst role with exposure to greenhouse gas emission reporting, particularly using GHG Protocol. You are also proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and have experience in developing or using data visualization tools like Power BI. A past in Enablon or Oracle and a strong understanding of sustainability reporting and climate disclosures would be considered an asset.
