**The Job at a Glance**
The Business Development Manager (internally known as PARTnership Builder) will participate in the execution of a sales plan to develop key region customers and strategic partnerships.
Key responsibilities include nurturing existing customer relationships, developing new ones, and leveraging a deep understanding of your assigned geographic region to implement tailored growth strategies. You will conduct market research to identify trends and qualify leads and hold regular calls and business reviews with customers to ensure alignment and drive results. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our business growth and customer success.
**A Typical Day**
- Execute sales plan by leveraging our OEM partnerships, value proposition, and supply chain solutions
- Research, identifies and develops new account opportunities
- Utilize a CRM (Salesforce) for tracking the development of account opportunities, new prospects, and communication details
- When the business need arises, travel to our targeted prospects, customers or trade shows
- Cultivate a network of influential contacts at all levels of customers to achieve sales objectives within assigned customers
- Work collaboratively with other sales team members, marketing, and customer experience teams to maximize initiatives by sharing knowledge and developing proactive tools
- Research and monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales and analyze weekly reports showing sales volume and potential sales
- Use 80/20 best practices to target customer accounts to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales/profit quota
**To Land This Opportunity**
- You have 5+ years of sales, business development, customer development, or account management experience with some experience in international business
- You are self-motivated, passionate, and hungry to make a big impact
- You describe yourself as proactive - taking initiative and following through is a must
- You are resilient - you see rejection as an exciting challenge
- You have a passion for building relationships and see each customer interaction as an opportunity to form a personal emotional connection
- You have fantastic communication skills and you're proficient in English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
- You have the ability to travel abroad as needed by air or car in the target region
