**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop, test, and refine pastry recipes aligned with client and seasonal needs
- Lead and supervise day-to-day kitchen operations and workflow
- Manage, train, and schedule kitchen staff
- Maintain consistency in product quality, portioning, and presentation
- Oversee ingredient ordering, stock rotation, and inventory management
- Ensure kitchen hygiene, safety, and compliance with health regulations
- Manage production timelines to meet internal and external order deadlines
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and supplies

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker (2+ years preferred)
- Proven experience in a management role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or bakery setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers.
- A passion for food production and commitment to delivering high-quality products.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
