Key Responsibilities
- The Junior Consultant will be involved in both corporate and marketing communications projects, which will include:

- Developing impactful media relations strategies that deliver impact and results
- Assisting with issues management and crisis communications.
- Participating in strategic planning and development of creative concepts and campaigns for our clients.
- Preparing compelling media documents and other communication material.
- Developing and securing traditional and online media opportunities.
- Developing and managing social media strategies and campaigns.
- Conducting and facilitating research, measurement and monitoring.
- Managing programs and workflow in a team environment.
- Required account administration.

**Qualifications**
- More than 3 years of proven experience in PR in Canada.
- Proven relationships with local, regional, and national media.
- Exceptional writing, listening and communication skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and complete several projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- University or college degree in a related field, such as Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or Journalism in Canada.

**Compensation**
- $53,000 - $57,000 per year
- Bonuses:

- Defined profitability bonus

- Defined 10% new business development (TBD based on tailored incentives) and recruitment bonus
