The Ministry of Transportation is seeking two (2) dynamic Municipal Services Supervisors to join our Operations Division in Thunder Bay and North Bay. - Provide supervision and guidance to staff located throughout Northwestern and Northeastern Ontario, ensuring effective team coordination and performance.
- Organize and oversee the delivery of road construction projects and seasonal maintenance programs, including summer and winter operations.
- Administer and manage budgets for the Unincorporated Roads program, evaluate work proposals, and address operational challenges.
- Liaise with municipal authorities and other ministries on engineering, technical, and financial matters, and respond to inquiries and requests.
- Lead recruitment and selection processes, manage staff performance, assign work, administer discipline, and recommend merit increases.
- Offer expert advice on municipal issues and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
