**Job Summary**

Perform material handling functions to prepare products/materials for Assembly, Crating and ACM departments.

**Key Objectives and Accountabilities**
- Provide and handle product/materials while maintaining safety and quality.
- Support Assembly department in a timely fashion
- Work cooperatively with all departments.
- Read and fully understand Art/Engineering drawings and job traveler.

**Requirements**:

- One year experience in similar environment. (Assembly, Wiring)
- Able to read and write English, must have good math skills.
- Able to demonstrate effective listening and communication skills.
- Good work ethic.
- Able to read and understand blueprints.
- Experience working with hand and power tools.
- Forklift experience and certification is required.
- Overhead Crane experience and certification is preferred; alternatively, must be successfully certified within first three months (company to provide training and certification)

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Receives instructions from assembly lead hand/supervisor to ensure daily shipping schedule is met.
- Helps assembly lead hand coordinate priorities in the Assembly department.
- Responsible for the movement of product/material through the plant for the Assembly department
- Responsible for gathering and staging upcoming jobs for the Assembly department.
- Responsible for gathering and staging finished goods for both shipping and local installation using Forklift and Crane.
- Responsible for assisting in the gathering of care packages ahead of shipping.
- Is required to become a certified quality rep and ensure all finished product has been inspected after Final Assembly
- Assists in other areas of production as assigned.
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Always ensures a clean and safe work environment.
- Cooperates with the Joint Health and Safety Committee and adheres to all plant safety rules and policies. Wears all required personal protective equipment when on plant floor.

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
