Cambridge, Canada Frankor Capital Corp. Full time

We are looking for an experienced material handler/forklift driver to join our team.

**Responsibilities may include**:

- Unloading and loading trucks
- Moving job material and stocking shelves at proper times
- Moving finished components to next process location
- Safely & continuously operate & perform daily inspection of a propane counterbalance forklift
- Organize and maintain storage areas within the plant and outside
- Load, unload, move and pack products and materials by hand or with material handling equipment (Forklift, Overhead Crane)
- Ensures that all products are moved and stored in a safe manner
- Manage priorities and tasks efficiently, with an ever-changing schedule
- Follow written directions; interpret schedules, shipping documents and drawings
- Pick parts and put away parts
- Cycle counting, reconcile calculated inventories with physical counts
- Help keep shop and warehouse clean and organized
- Communicate with shop managers and supervisors to understand production schedules
- Other duties as required

**Skills and Experience**:

- 1+ years experience driving forklift
- Valid forklift license
- Overhead crane experience an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Effective organization, problem solving and time management skills
- Keen attention to detail, an outstanding work ethic and the ability to multi-task
- Physically able to handle demands of tasks - walking, bending, reaching
- Heavy lifting may be required (up to 50lbs), gripping, pinching, twisting
- Physical job, required to be on your feet all day, moving around consistently
- Previous experience with parts in an industrial setting is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
